Grant Saves Edmonds School District Construction Program

Edmonds SC GrantThe Master Builders Career Connection (MBCC) has awarded its largest grant to the Edmonds School District in support of a 36-year-old building program in danger of being discontinued due to lack of funds. Working with the Lynnwood Rotary Foundation, the Edmonds School District has offered a house-building program to give its high school students hands-on experience in the homebuilding trades. This year, due to cuts in the school budget and the problems in the housing market, the program ran into major financial difficulties that threatened this distinguished program.
